Yes, very good recipe for after the holidays. It's a lot different than the traditional turkey dinner which is exactly what we need for those last few days of leftover turkey!

This one will definitely come in useful after christmas :-) always have way too much. A few years ago even created curried brussel sprouts, which made them much nicer than just boiled :-)

This is perfect for thanksgiving day. Turkey Chile is something unusual I hope that my guests will like the chili type of turkey that you have. I will just add some lemon so there will be a mix of chili and sweet flavor.

Glad he liked it Denise. Yes, you definitely can substitute cubed turkey in the recipe. Since it's not a white chili you can put any kind of meat you would like in it without "ruining" the flavor. Poultry is just generally leaner.

Hope you enjoy the recipe once you try it April, Lia and Obelia.

Lia you won't have to cook a fresh turkey any longer than a frozen turkey. You have to defrost a store bought turkey completely before cooking, therefor the cooking time becomes the same.

I saw this recipe last week and tried it out. My husband LOVED it! Thank you! I do have a question, can I use the whole bird and not just ground turkey? Or substitute the turkey for other meats like beef? Thanks.
