Single Leg Stability

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned previously that I teach a seniors fitness class. You would be amazed at what you learn you need to work on by visiting this class. I encourage all ages of their relatives to attend, especially since sometimes they need a ride and I want them all to be here 3 times a week.
But stability is a huge issue we don’t understand we will lose so easily.
When you are doing jobs that require you to stand in one spot, just lift up one foot and hold for as long as possible. The longer the better. Holding for over 30 seconds is good, longer is GREAT! Try not to hold on to anything much as you are holding your foot off the ground. The higher you lift your knee, the more difficult you can make it for yourself in that minute. There are more things to come that we can add to that single leg lift
