What is your favorite restraurant? Why is it your favorite?
My favorite changes.
Right now it is the Olive Garden. Whichever place is my favorite at the moment is always comes down to service. I will take less quality food for better service anyway and I tip to prove it. ![]()
So after service I think it has to do with the all you can eat salad with lots of veggies in it. Plus, I can fill up on that, have a little bit of my main meal and take the rest home for lunch or dinner the next day. 2 for the price of 1!

I loveeeee Olive Garden!!
Olive Garden is good. I moved, so left behind my favorite Health food restaurant and the little cuban food place around the corner from me.
I love Olive Garden’s minestrone! Jeannie that’s sad you had to move away from your fav food places. There is an authentic mexican restaurant by my FIL and I’ve been craving it. I think it’s good that I don’t know of one closer to me to fall in love with lol
I lived in Tuscany for a little while with someone and loved it (pity about the relationship though!). The Olive Garden certainly has that “Tuscan” influence in their design and menus.
Lately, I’ve gotten hooked on California Pizza Kitchen. Their salads are out of this world. And they’re HUGE. I always go home with plenty of leftovers.
Very cool Brianna. Hearing California Pizza Kitchen always cracks me up. Here in Seattle it’s a not very good looking frozen pizza. We all thought it was funny that there are actual restaurants in Cali. But it totally made sense. Glad they have some healthier options to choose for you.
I would take good food over the service I think. I like good healthy food, so less than perfect service will suffice, but if the food is greasy or unhealthy, I won’t come again.
Typically I know if I’m going to a greasy diner that I’m not going to get the healthy food options I really should be eating. If the food is laden in grease we won’t go back either as the gut ache is just too painful to endure.
I like some Chinese foods, but only if they are not greasy or have an overload of certain ingredients such as celery for filler. Unfortunately, where I have moved to, this is the problem with the local restaurant. So I am doing without some of my favorites right now.
So I make my own stir fry, which is probably a lot healthier.
Definitely a lot healthier to make your own because of all the oils they tend to use. Yes, it’s difficult to find a good chinese restaurant. I ordered vegetable chow mein today and it sadly only had green onion and a little bit of shredded carrot. Definitely NOT what I imagine when I order a dish labeled vegetable.
I have always eaten very healthily on my visits to the States, especially California. I was a bit dosappointed in Miami last year but I didnt have local info. Will be heading to Seattle in Spring so I will check out the Olive Garden. I also lived in Italy (Rome) and loved the fresh foods and healthy oils.
Every restaurant has healthy food, it’s all about paying attention to the ingredients. Olive Garden can be a horrible place if you don’t pay attention. Get the salad dressing on the side as the salads are worse than most of the entrees!
