If you want to be in better shape, aerobic exercise is important. Basically, aerobics get your heart going and breathing going at a fast and steady pace. By doing this aerobics are going to benefit everything in your body and especially your overall health.
However, no matter what your level of current exercise is, aerobics can get very boring if you do the same thing a lot. Even things you like such as riding a bike or walking around your neighborhood can get really old after awhile. Then you might be tempted to stop doing them just because you are bored. Don’t let yourself quit, lets just change some things up.
There are many things that you can do that are creative and that can work as aerobic exercise. Remember that aerobic exercise is simply movement that gets your heart beating faster and your breathing increased. This means that when it comes right down to it, there aren’t too many limits on what you can do for your aerobic exercise.
Try using skates and pushing your baby’s stroller. This is something that can be a lot of fun because it can be time that you spend with your child, and it can also be exercise time. Just make sure you have a stroller with a handbrake to be safe. You can skate with a dog, as well. Dogs love to run and if you are skating you’ll be able to go faster.
Something else that you can do that is very creative would be to take a fast paced dance class. This can be a great way to get your work out, because you’re able to get a full workout while you are dancing, and you can learn some great dance moves as well. In fact, if you take enough dance classes, not only can it be a creative way to get your exercise, but it can also turn into a new hobby for you! There are many dance dvd’s, like ballroom, zumba and ballet, so don’t let the lack of local classes hold you back. Zumba is a very popular dance fitness craze right and you can learn everything right at home. It’s a lot of fun and a great workout.
Don’t forget that no matter what you are doing, it can work as aerobic exercise, as long as as you keep your heart rate up for 20-30 minutes. If you can manage to have this level of work out, then no matter what you choose to do, it can be a creative way to do aerobics. Think outside the box and add some fun to your cardio routine.

Its fun to see aerobics exercises and since it involves more body movements it burns more fat. I think aerobics excises is amazing but I only jog. By the way , zumba sounds like a great tradition dance which one cannot resist but learn.
Try changing it up Mel. Our bodies adapt to the same cardio and won’t burn as many calories or work as hard. If you change it to riding a bike, taking a class or something else for a few weeks you’ll see that you don’t have to jog as far to get the same affects.

ha! zumba. i love it. but i hate that my one local class has skinny young women in it. seriously. a few of them asked me several times, “are you sure you don’t want to sit down ma’am” and “are you sure you’re in the right class”? i felt like a rhino in the middle of a flock of flamingos. i love dancing and it is a great way to shed pounds. actually that’s when i started really putting on weight when i stopped dancing.

WOW, they treated you like that? I was going to tell you that you shouldn’t judge them by their size now because you have no idea how much weight they may have lost to get there. But if they are talking to you like that then I have my doubts that they did any serious weightloss.
I had a real battle with a client once because she was of the mindset, “how would you know what it’s like to be fat?” She pissed me off. We marched into the locker room and I showed her all my stretch marks and flabby skin. Told her to get off her high horse judging others that HAD put the work in to lose the weight. But again, doesn’t sound like the case with these women. If they’d had to lose any weight they’d be doing the opposite. They’d be telling you to keep at it and go harder and be more encouraging :/
