I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned previously that I teach a seniors fitness class. You would be amazed at what you learn you need to work on by visiting this class. I encourage all ages of their relatives to attend, especially since sometimes they need a ride and I want them all to be here 3 times a week.

But stability is a huge issue we don’t understand we will lose so easily.

When you are doing jobs that require you to stand in one spot, just lift up one foot and hold for as long as possible. The longer the better. Holding for over 30 seconds is good, longer is GREAT! Try not to hold on to anything much as you are holding your foot off the ground. The higher you lift your knee, the more difficult you can make it for yourself in that minute. There are more things to come that we can add to that single leg lift

I told you I’d get some quick tips out to you. I truly am excited to get you these quick ways you can get more fitness into your day to day. While it’s definitely not cardio, it is helping you in many ways. 1 minute exercises have no excuse. You can find Stability and body weight training can be very important to our daily lives for THE REST OF OUR LIVES! Body weight training does a lot of help for your bone density as well. We always want to keep every bit of bone density we have.

So calf raises. If you are standing doing dishes, cutting vegetables, or some other activity in place. Do some quick calf raises. Go up on your toes and slowly lower yourself back to the ground. Do this 12-15 times in a row. If you can get in 3-4 sets of this at one time that is awesome. Sexy calves in no time with this helping you

We’ll get many more leg exercises on the Done in One so that you have the complete hot leg for the Summer. Calf raises are just the beginning!

I know how some of my other sites readers have loved quick tips. Quick tips as in quick for them to do and especially quick for them to read.

Well why not here at Busy Momma Wellness? Hmm, well because until today it didn’t hit me what a topic could be that I could keep going easily.

I’m not a contributor at Eccentric WAHM and as I was writing my first post it came to me. Done in One!

I was writing this post about things that can be done day to day while you are doing other things around the house. I could have kept this post going forever and ever and ever and ever. Hmm, that’s a sign isn’t it? lol

So I’ve created the new Done in One segment to just get you moving more every second of every day. This will even go for sitting at the computer, working, at the kids practice. Do you have somewhere that you’d like to incorporate more movement? I’d be happy to write up some quick tips on how to do so!

So if you want to go see the first posts on how to get more activity Done in One, go on over to Eccentric WAHM and check out how it all began. I already have some set to go out here in the coming weeks.
