Start with Today

I know we constantly hear and say, I’m going on a diet tomorrow. I’ll go to the gym..tomorrow. There is no tomorrow, there is only today. So think of what you can do at this moment to better yourself.

Food wise: Eat a salad with dinner. Eat a piece of fruit with lunch. Have a sandwich with carrot sticks instead of potato chips.

Fitness wise: Take the stairs. Do extra stairs at home. Walk to the mailbox. Park farther away from the door. Do laundry while watching tv, it keeps you moving (folding) while you are sitting.

Pick a Goal

In order to succeed you need to have your goals written down. Then pick one of those goals and break it down into small “bite size” chunks to work on. Each week work another piece of the goal into your daily schedule. By the end of 6-8 weeks you will have turned that new goal into a good habit.

What day of the week is your busiest day in general?

Monday is definitely the busiest as I adjust to life going back to work and school.  Friday is a close second as I try to get everything done before the weekend.

What’s your Passion?

What fitness goal are you truly passionate about?

How long have you been passionate about it and why are you so passionate about it?

My passionate fitness goal right now is to get down to 155 and bulk up. I have had this passion for the last 2 years now.

Why: When I lose the weight I have more energy to run around with the kids and I plan stuff like going biking with them today. I don’t feel like just sitting around the house, I pull the whole family out of it. Very Happy I like to bulk up cause I like the look of rock hard muscles. Hubby does too, so it works for us. Very Happy

Another installment from a lady that makes me LOL, in the middle of the night, when no one is awake and I have to be quiet. Very Happy Not an easy task. I usually try not to be drinking anything when I open her newsletter to save my computer monitor. Wink

I lost another pound!!!

Hey, that might not be a big deal to some people, but when you’re
battling the buldge, it’s movement in the right direction. Take THAT,
buldge!

So, I’m motivated. Every new pound lost gets me that closer to wearing
the nice clothes hanging in my closet.

So we posted about starting with today, but have you stuck with it? Have you forgiven yourself for whatever bad habit you fell back on?

Habits of any kind are hard to break. So give yourself a break and “live in the now!” Laughing Make the effort to move more this minute. Don’t visit us here and feel guilty for all you haven’t done. We are here to listen to what you have done, which is probably a lot if you put it down in a post. Give yourself some credit and write about what you do in a day.

What is your favorite group or singer from your high school days?

This question came up as I was working on a scrapbook for my neighbors high school graduation.  lol  Putting in the top songs for the year and thinking back to my top songs.

My fav. I guess would have to be Poison. It’s kind of a toss up with a few, but I listened to Poison all the time and still can listen to them all day long.  I listen to so many types of music that it’s really hard to choose just one.
